Laziness erodes a person of his enthusiasm and energy. As a result the person loses all opportunities and finally becomes dejected and frustrated. The worst thing is that he stops believing in himself.

荀子は紀元前4世紀頃の中国の哲学者で、性悪説の考えに立った人です。彼は学び続ける事を人々に勧め、日本でも彼の著作は深く研究されました。ヴェーダは熱意を失う事の怖さを説いており、荀子の言葉と共通する部分があります。
Xun Kuang is a Chinese philosopher of the 4th century B.C. who believed in the idea of a ‘the ethical doctrine that human nature is fundamentally evil’. He encouraged people to continue the learning (process) and his works were studied in depth in Japan also. Vedic philosophies have something in common with his views on the fear of losing enthusiasm.

It can be understood that if we can remove the burden of laziness in the mind, we can realise our true human potential, which is also in line with the Vedic teachings.

It can be: Laziness has no lawyer, but it has many friends. Italian proverb
悪友達は直ぐに見つけられるが、自分を鼓舞する良い友を見つけのは難しい、と解すれば、ヴェーダの意味する所を、逆説的に述べているのかも知れません。
If its connotation is it is easy to find bad friends, but difficult to find a good friend who inspires you positively, it may paradoxically be saying what the Veda phrase means.
