アウラングゼーブはムガール帝国領域を拡げた武人統治者であった反面、歳を経てからは、スフィーとの交わりを深めた様です。彼の死後、帝国は段々と勢力が衰え、徐々に欧州諸国のインド植民地化が拡がって行きました。
多くのスーフィー（イスラム神秘主義者）達とムガール帝国第六代皇帝アウラングゼーブ　(1618-1707)の眠るクルダバードは壁に囲まれた静かな町です。今は壁の一部はありません。アウラングゼーブが町を囲む壁を造らせたそうです。写真は城門の一つ、ナーガール・カナー門です。
Many Sufis ( Islamic mystical thinkers ) and Aurangzeb (1618-1707), the 6th Emperor of Mughal Empire, have been resting in this Khuldabad city, which was once surrounded by the urban wall. Aurangzeb was said to order the wall building. This photo shows the Nagarkhana Gate.
Viele Sufis (islamische mystische Denker) und Aurangzeb (1618-1707), der sechste Kaiser des Mogul-Reichs, schlafen in diesem Khuldabad Stadt ewig. Die stille Stadt wurde einst von den Stadtmauern umgeben. Aurangzeb hatte befahl, die Wand herum zu bauen. Dieses Foto zeigt das Nagarkhana-Tor.
