Curfew

This is Sugimoto, Manager of International Affairs Kanda University of International Studies (KUIS), and Keeper of this dormitory (I live in this dormitory with my family). Thank you very much for visiting this blog.
If you are new exchange students who are coming to KUIS next semester, please be advised that our dormitory has a 11:00 pm curfew. The details are as follows:
Curfew
KUIS has three dormitories near the campus (Sorry, there is no on-campus dormitory).
All the three dormitories have a 11:00 pm curfew. All students must be back in the dormitory by 11:00 pm.
・Dormitory main entrance is closed at 11:00 pm and opened at 7:00 am.
・ If you are not going to be back by 11:00 pm for some reason, remember to tell that to a janitor in advance and get his/her permission.
・You can have a part-time job, but you must be back by 11:00 pm.
・When you enter your dormitory after 11:00 pm, do not disturb your dormmates: Go straight to your room and make no noise. Be considerate to your dormmates and neighbors.
It seems that students sometimes find student life stressful (I was also a university student 20 years ago…). Sometimes I also find life stressful (I am 41years old).
If you want to lead a stress-free student life, I recommend that you live in an apartment rather than live in a dormitory with others.
But I think dormitory life is not only a cause of stress but a source of happiness (What do you think, alum?).
Dear alumni and alumnae,
Please give this information to those incoming students who are interested in dormitory life. I will be glad to have your opinion about dormitory life.
Thank you.
Sugimoto
